A man of few words, Shahid Kapoor is all set to don a new role, of a teacher, in Ahmed Khan's Paathshala. Shahid must have been a master of dance but now he has to prove his expertise in Music and English in the film.

Paathshala, as the name suggests, revolves around kids, and is set in a school campus. The film also has actors like Nana Patekar and Ayesha Takia playing key characters along with a bunch of renowned child artistes. The picture above displays Shahid grooving with the kids to the beats of a song. And we must add, he surely has an amazing chemistry with the kids.

"Abhay narrated a story to me regarding a man in London and suggested making a modern take on 'Devdas'. That thing hit me very hard. I got interested in the subject and hence 'Dev D' was born. I then scripted the film on the basis of news headlines on the Gen X because I wanted to take the angle of today's youth in the film," the director is quoted by IANS.

Interestingly, Anurag has roped in two newcomers to play the roles of Paro and Chandramukhi.

"I decided that Mahi Gill will be Paro when I saw her at a party. I later went on to see her work in some Punjabi films…I had to delay the film because I wasn't able to find someone appropriate to do Chandramukhi's role. It is a complex and complicated character. My hunt ended when I auditioned who was one of the last girls to be auditioned," he said.

Kashyap adds that Abhay was his obvious choice to play the protagonist.

Shot in Manali, Chandigarh, Delhi and London, ‘Dev D’ is set for release in February next year.

RAZZ 2 is certainly not the sequel of Raaz is what is all said about the movie. DirectorsMahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt desperately are trying to clear the buzz in the air the RAAZ 2certainly has its own conception and has nothing to do with RAAZ. Kangana plays a super model in this film and Adhyayan her boyfriend.

The movie had its shooting going on at Goregaon Film City, Mumbai on 11^th April, 2008 where some of the shots of Kangana walking the ramp were undertaken.

The movie features the very patent and favorite actor of Bhatt camp i.e. Emraan Hashmi along with Kangana Ranaut. The film introduces a fresh face this year and that is actor Shekhar Suman’s son Adhyayan. Synopsis:

A brooding artist Prithvi (Emraan) experiences mysterious and distressing visions about Nandita (Kangana), a woman he has never met, which he paints on a canvas. Intrigued by these visions, Prithvi tracks her down and warns her that these are not merely paintings of her, but accidents waiting to happen.

At first Nandita refuses to believe him and dismisses him as an eccentric stalker. However, the striking resemblance between Prithvi’s paintings and the near-death incidents in her life is hard to ignore.

Haunted by a series of deadly and paranormal experiences, her reason crumbles in the face of fear.

Now, one of Prithvi’s paintings has revealed her as dead. The only way she can change her fate is to unravel this mystery with his help, at the risk of alienating herself from her boyfriend, Yash (Adhyayan), a rational and logical man who refuses to believe in Prithvi’s premonitions.

Salman Khan, For his upcoming action movie, Wanted Dead or Alive, performed a dare devil fight sequence atop a building terrace in Mumbai.
A unit member told, "There was an action scene being shot on a specially erected set on a building terrace near Mumbai's Mahalaxmi Race Course. The small set is actually shown as Salman's character's home in the film. Posing as a goon, Salman's role is of an undercover cop out to destroy a mafia don's empire in this Hindi remake of Telugu super hit Pokkiri. The action sequence had a rival gang’s members attacking Salman in his house."

After a long break and a big flop in the form of Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Preity Zinta would not be seen in her upcoming movie, directed by Jahnu Barua opposite Shiney Ahuja of the Gangster fame. The director, Barua, had their first choice in Preity and Shiney and luckily got them, considering how difficult it is to get the dates or even convince A listing actors for a movie.

Though the roommate of Preity in the film was changed once. The film, an autobiographical account of growing up in Chandni Chowk, was largely shot in Rajasthan using sets to recreate Chandni Chowk.

The theatrical first look was unveiled at Dubai International Film Festival. Present at the event were Sonam Kapoor, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and UTV's head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapoor and abhishek bachan.

Director Sudipto Chattopadhya who is currently making PANKH for White Feather films with Bipasha Basu is pretty nervous. PANKH with its bold theme of gender identity had already created ripples in the film industry circle. Sudipto heaved a sigh of relief when his select guests stepped out of the preview theatre with a smile on their face.

Sudipto said, "I was glad that the audience could easily connect to the main protagonist emotionally. The theme of PANKH touched their hearts and that itself was a triumphant moment for me. Everyone who saw the scenes, we showed them, was full of praise. It was heart warming."

Writer cum Director cum Producer Sanjay Gupta confirmed his shooting plans with his age-old friend sanjaydutt for his upcoming movie Alibaug. The film is shot under the banner of White Feather Production House, the company Sanjay Dutt was once fostering along with friend Sanjay Gupta.

Clearing all the speculations regarding Dutt’s futher shootings, who has already completed one schedule of Alibaug, Gupta informed, ” There’s absolutely no question of Alibaug without Sanjay Dutt. He’s the film’s backbone. Right now I’m in Goa shooting for Alibaug with the entire cast except Sanju. But Sanju will join us later in Mumbai and complete all his work. ”

In the meanwhile another of Dutt’s buddies Bunty Walia is going full-steam ahead with his plans of making Lamha with Sanjay Dutt. “I’m giving Sanju a completely new look for Lamha. We start shooting next year,” informs Bunty.
